Growth and Productivity

What are the mixture effects on productivity, resistance, and resilience of the stands?

Seasonal radial growth is studied on a stratified selection of 216 trees, belonging to the open modalities (without fences), and to the dynamic and conservative densities scenario modalities. In addition, two of the three control plots were recently equipped with dendrometers (36 trees), the last control plot will be equipped during the 2015/2016 winter.

The radial growth will be linked to water regime in order to investigate if the differences in water balance between stand types (density and composition) result in differential individual tree response (growth, resistance and resilience to climatic events).
